For my piece I first drew a rose. I started drawing with pencil then shaded the petals in. After I was done I used a pen and outlined the petals but I did not shade in with the pen I left the shaded in parts done by pencil alone for effect. After I then cut out the rose and put it aside. I got another piece of blank white paper. I put my cut out rose in the middle of the paper. Then I used tape to stick it onto the paper. And then I used pencil, again, to create horizontal squiggles going across the paper. Every other section I shaded it in with pencil. Then my piece was complete.
