I wanted to make my campaign ads not to look cheesy but I also wanted my audience to get the point that i was trying to send. I also didn't want to make my ads look like yours because then I'd just be copying and that's no good. Sooo for my Obama ads i wanted to make him appear friendly, wise, and some one who's very patriotic and wants what's best for this country.
For my 1st ad i took a picture from yahoo and it was just his head and his hands and it looks like he's in deep thought. Soi decided to make the background white and make him glow! So in the end he looked very wise and wordly. I didn't want the end to be overwhelmed with words or anything so in the upper right hand corner i just put Obama 2008 in red and blue since it would stand out because of the white background. And then i just put a small picture of cartoon kids who look very happy and jumping under the Obama 2008. I did that because i felt like the ad looked a little too plain.
For the 2nd ad i took another picture from yahoo and it was just him looking like he's making a speech. He already looked pretty epic but i wanted to appear even MORE epic. So i got rid of his background. And painted his background red, white and blue. I wanted the colors to look faded kind of and then after i added some white stars in the red and blue parts for a more patriotic effect.
For the 3rd pic i decided to not do a Obama ad. Instead i did a McCain ad. But an ad AGAiNSt him not for him. So i just took a picture from yahoo. He was smiling. It was a head shot. Then in photoshop i made his picture smaller and made it turn sideways a little. I put horns on his head with pain and i outlined his picture with black paint. on his picture in red bold words i wrote republican't.
I would say i liked my 2nd ad the best just because i feel like i's not plain looking but it doesn't have too much going on. My 1st one sucked because it was my first one and my third one was just made to be funny but still prove a point.
The End.
